The University of Waterloo’s Model United Nations is a student-run organization that seeks to promote engaging in global affairs and provides a fun, social environment to develop public speaking, diplomacy and debate skills.

Our dedicated team strives to create a professional and accessible simulation of the United Nations through conferences, including mock General Assemblies and Crisis Committees.
Upcoming Conferences
Every semester UW MUN hosts In-house conferences that are open to all general members. These conferences are opportunities to practice your public speaking and debating skills, and meet new people on the team! Furthermore, they are meant to prepare you for external events, where you could have the chance to represent the University of Waterloo at a Model UN conference.
